About the app

Ikasi & Go™ is a Basque vocabulary learning app for iOS. It provides vocabulary flashcards, spaced repetition quizzes, and cultural notes to help users learn Basque (Euskara).

Free and Pro access

The app offers a free tier that includes the beginner (A1) vocabulary across all topics, with quizzes, spaced repetition, and daily goals. Ikasi Pro is a one-time lifetime purchase that unlocks everything: all levels (A1 to B2), every topic, every game, the full lesson path, and all future vocabulary updates. There is no subscription and there are no recurring charges.

• Free trial: 7 days of full Pro access at no charge. The trial does not convert into a purchase automatically, and no payment method is charged when it ends; you simply return to the free tier.
• Lifetime unlock: a single one-time purchase, yours permanently.

Purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions. Refund requests are handled by Apple through their standard process at reportaproblem.apple.com.

What the lifetime unlock covers

It is permanent. Your purchase unlocks all levels (A1 to B2), every topic, every game, and the full lesson path, and it keeps working for as long as you have the app. It will never expire, and it will never turn into a subscription.

Vocabulary updates are included, permanently. New words and phrases, corrections, and improved notes reach you at no additional cost, forever. This is the core of what you are buying and we will not put it behind a further charge.

Improvements to the app are included. New quiz modes, new games, redesigns, and fixes are part of the app you bought, not a separate purchase.

What could cost extra later. Some things would cost us money every month, for every person using them: syncing your progress through a server, hosted audio recordings, or anything that depends on a paid third-party service. A single payment cannot fund a monthly cost forever. If we ever build something like that, it will be entirely optional, we will say plainly what it costs before you pay anything, and we will never take an existing feature and move it behind that charge. Declining it changes nothing about what you already own: the app keeps working exactly as it does today, and the vocabulary updates keep arriving.

Restore purchases

If you have previously purchased the Pro lifetime unlock, you can restore it on any device signed in with your Apple ID using the Restore Purchases button in the app, without being charged again.

Accuracy of content

We make every effort to ensure the vocabulary, translations, pronunciation guides, and cultural notes in the app are accurate. However, Basque (Euskara) is a complex language with regional variation and ongoing standardization. We do not warrant that all content is error-free. Intellectual property

All content in the app, including vocabulary data, cultural notes, design, and code, is the intellectual property of Ikasi & Go™. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the app content without written permission.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the app's source code
• Use automated tools to scrape or download app content
• Circumvent purchase or access controls
• Use the app for any unlawful purpose

Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Your use of the app is at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ikasi & Go™ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes to the app

Ikasi & Go™ is an evolving product, and we may change it as we see fit, subject to the limit set out at the end of this section. We reserve the right to add, change, or remove features, games, screens, designs, and content at any time, and to introduce new capabilities such as optional accounts or new services. If a future feature materially changes how data is handled, we will update the Privacy Policy and these terms to describe it before it applies to you.

We may also do any of the following without notice: change the price of the app or of any in-app purchase; change, reduce, or end the free tier or the free trial for people who have not yet bought; change which countries the app is sold in; change or replace the third-party services we rely on; and correct, revise, or remove any vocabulary entry, translation, pronunciation guide, or cultural note. Price changes apply only to new purchases and never to a purchase you have already made.

We may suspend or end access for anyone using the app unlawfully, attempting to bypass its purchase controls, or otherwise breaking the Acceptable Use section above.

We cannot promise the app will be developed forever. If we stop working on it, we will say so at ikasiandgo.com where that is practical. A copy you have already installed will keep working as it is, though we cannot guarantee it will keep working on versions of iOS released after development stops, and the vocabulary file may stop receiving updates.

The limit on all of the above: none of it lets us take back what you paid for. We will not disable or expire your lifetime unlock, charge you a second time for it, lock you out of the levels, topics, and vocabulary it unlocked, or take something you already have and put it behind a new price.

Individual features can still change or be retired. A game may stop working on a future version of iOS, or depend on something that is no longer maintained, and we would rather retire it honestly than ship something broken. What does not change is your access: if you bought the lifetime unlock, the app stays unlocked for you, and the vocabulary keeps updating. If we ever fail to honor that, you are entitled to seek a refund from Apple.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer is based. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
